One was on the martyrdom of Polycarp, another took you to a site that had an awesome video trying to describe God with words….its cool.
This is a neat little video that reminds us that God doesn’t use men and women with outstanding credentials! He uses the plain and ordinary, who have humbled themselves before Him and are ready to serve.
And this little video reminds me of how the creation points to the Creator. And this video made me laugh.
I love to read other people’s thoughts, especially pastors who have been faithful for years. Here are some pastors I suggest reading from time to time. Thabiti Anyabwile, C.J Mahaney, John Piper, and Justin Taylor are just a few. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Gina and I are heading out of town tomorrow for the weekend. Looking forward to some time of rest and relaxation. I hope to get some reading done; Taylor bought me Francis Chan’s book, “Crazy Love” and hope to have it done by the end of the week. I have read the prefac and first chapter this morning and it seems solid so far. Thanks Taylor for the gift.
